So why is llanllyr SOURCE pure natural water now in a can and not a plastic bottle? Because we wanted to use a material that is consistent with our organic and environmental principles and our can is 100% recyclable!.
In fact aluminium is the only material in widespread use that recycles into its own weight. And a recycled can is typically back in use in only 6 weeks. We want to encourage more people to recycle and already over 50% of cans are. But in the UK alone its estimated that only 3 billion of the 13 billion plastic bottles used each year get recycled. So that means there's a lot of plastic ending up in landfill or in our oceans.
Our pure natural sparkling water in a silver can with the distinctive orange dot was launched in March 2008 with still following in May in an identical style and its familiar black.
